The Lincoln Theatre has been beautifully restored and updated
with a larger stage, modern sound and lighting equipment,
and a grand new entrance on the side of the building that
includes an overlooking balcony reception area. The 566-seat
Egyptian Revival-style theater has a digital projection system;
a second-floor ballroom for 10 resident arts groups with space
for auditions, rehearsals, performances and classes; and a
third floor that houses the Jazz Arts Group's Jazz Academy.
The project required an addition for stage support, dressing
and toilet rooms, new plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems,
and theatrical lighting and sound systems. |
