This 225,000 SF fine arts complex will include
a theater with fixed seating for over 450 people and a full
stage house with adjustable acoustics, an actor’s “Blackbox”
Theater, and other rehearsal/performance spaces. The center
will also house recording spaces, classrooms for theater and
film studies, music and dance studios, production support
spaces, and a student technology center. The building features
environmentally friendly refrigerants, high-efficiency, low-flow
plumbing fixtures to conserve water, high-performance glazing
and a reflective roof to minimize cooling requirements, and
low-emitting materials to improve indoor air quality. The
project is registered for LEED Silver Certification.
