The Ohio State University Medical Center Ross Heart Hospital

This 225,000 SF dedicated heart hospital houses six operating rooms, six cath labs, and 90 universal patient rooms with provisions to expand that number by the addition of two more patient room floors. The ground level of this building houses the relocated central sterile supply department of the complex, which serves as one of the main terminals of the automated guided vehicle (AGV) materials management system that was installed to serve the entire OSU Medical Center. The project includes cardiovascular medicine, thoracic surgery, transplant surgery, radiology, interventional radiology, pharmacy, and a 1,000-car parking garage.
