Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation Forensic Laboratory

This new 100,000 SF building features forensics laboratories, administration, records storage, law library, and firing range. The forensics laboratories consist of chemistry, polygraphs, photo laboratory, hazardous biologicals, mass spectroscopy, and firearms analysis. In addition, this project has a DNA laboratory, storage of DNA-related data, protected by a sophisticated fire suppression system. Korda won a 2000 Award of Excellence from Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for this project.
