This is the 968,000 SF headquarters of the largest research-based
agricultural products company in North America. The research
laboratory within this complex houses 400 scientists and support
staff. The facility includes numerous biology and chemistry
laboratories serving the discovery research, process research,
formulations and environmental chemistry groups. A state-of-the-art
modular construction design readily accommodates any changes
in the laboratory floor plans.
The facility also includes greenhouses, headhouses, an insectary
with 22 holding rooms, a robotics lab, growth and incubator
chambers. The laboratory contains automated soils handling equipment,
controlled environmental sections for materials storage, radioactive
materials hoods as well as specially designed heating, ventilation
and air conditioning systems controlled by a sophisticated instrumentation
