Goodale Street Bridge

Reconstruction of the existing 7-span steel beam bridge structure carrying Goodale Street over SR 315 and the Olentangy River required construction phasing plans that permitted demolition and removal of the existing structure during limited closure periods of the Olentangy Freeway and maintaining two-way, two-lane traffic on Goodale Street by part-width construction methods. The new structure is a variable width, continuous, 7-span steel beam structures on the original cap and column piers with new pier caps and substantially reconstructed stub abutments with the required transitions to existing Goodale Street and modifications to the Twin Rivers Drive intersection.
